I. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to enter, win, or receive any grant funds or prizes, applicants must strictly meet all of the following criteria at the time of entry:

• Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age.
• Heritage: Applicants must be of documented Jamaican descent.
• Birthplace: Applicants must not have been born in Jamaica.
• Prior Status: Applicants must not have previously applied for Jamaican citizenship.
• Residency: Applicants must be legal residents of the United States.
• Payment Account: Applicants must possess a valid, verified personal PayPal account.
• Exclusions: Relatives and immediate family members of ASHFIMON management or founders are strictly ineligible to apply or win. Past winners of this program are also ineligible to reapply or win.

II. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is required to enter or win. A purchase of any ASHFIMON product will not increase or alter your chances of winning.
• Odds of Winning: Odds depend entirely on the total number of compliant, eligible entries received.
• Compliance & Submission: Only fully compliant applications that meet all criteria will be entered into the random giveaway drawing. One entry per person is strictly enforced. Applicants are required to provide a valid email address via a text input field and successfully pass the mandatory manual math spam check to submit their application.
• Policy Acceptance upon Entry: By checking the mandatory terms agreement box and submitting an initial application to the ASHFIMON Jamaican Citizenship Program, all applicants explicitly acknowledge and agree that they have read, understood, and legally accepted all program policies, rules, and terms in their entirety.
• Jurisdiction: Open to U.S. residents only. Void where prohibited by law.
• Rule Alterations: While ASHFIMON strives for complete transparency, we reserve the right to alter, amend, or update any part of these rules, terms, and conditions at any time without advance notice.

III. PRIZE BREAKDOWN & LIMITATIONS

• Main Prize Value ($100 USD): This cash grant explicitly and exclusively covers the standard application fee for Jamaican citizenship by descent when applying from within the United States.
• Excluded Fees: The prize does not cover consular processing fees, mandatory citizenship passport-style photos, courier services, or any additional processing fees your individual application may incur.
• Supplemental Prizes: Winners will receive a physical prize package (includes ASHFIMON branded Diaspora merch) and a scheduled 20-minute informational Zoom call with Ashley (the program founder) to discuss the citizenship by descent process.
• Restrictions: Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash (excluding the $100 application fee), or substituted by the winner.
• Shipping: The winner will not be charged shipping costs for physical prizes sent to a valid U.S. address.

IV. MANDATORY WINNER OBLIGATIONS & CONTRACTUAL BREACH
By accepting the grant and prizes—all of which are disbursed upfront—the winner legally agrees to the following mandatory compliance, milestone, and communication benchmarks:

• Account Verification: The winner’s PayPal profile must display the applicant’s real photo and match the exact legal name submitted on the entry form.
• Process Updates: The winner is required to reply to quarterly check-in emails and keep ASHFIMON fully updated on the entirety of their citizenship application process.
• Media Submissions: The winner is required to submit a personal review of the program, along with high-resolution media files including, but not limited to, headshots, an unboxing review video or photo, and a final photograph wearing their received ASHFIMON Diaspora shirt/button while proudly holding their official citizenship certificate.
• Breach of Contract & Full Financial Repayment: Providing the requested quarterly updates, review media, and final certificate photographs is a strict contractual condition of the grant. Failure or refusal to respond to multiple quarterly check-ins or provide these materials constitutes a formal breach of contract. Upon receiving a written non-compliance notice from ASHFIMON, the winner agrees to fully repay a fixed total of $175.00 USD within thirty (30) days to fully recoup the cost of the $100.00 cash grant advance, the retail value of the physical diaspora merchandise, and all associated tracked shipping fees.

V. IRREVOCABLE MEDIA RELEASE & PERMANENT ARCHIVE

• Irrevocable Media Release: The winner grants ASHFIMON, its affiliates, and authorized representatives irrevocable, perpetual, and worldwide permission to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and publish their name, state location, quotes, and all submitted photos, headshots, or videos. This media will be featured for announcements, storytelling, and promotional purposes on ASHFIMON’s website, official newsletters, and social media pages.
• No Right to Removal or Deletion: The media license granted herein is completely irrevocable. The winner explicitly agrees that the ASHFIMON Jamaican Citizenship Program is under no obligation to remove, delete, or alter any promotional content, social media posts, website features, or newsletter archives once they have been published, even in the event of a compliance breach or a repayment demand.
• No Extra Compensation: The winner acknowledges that they will receive no financial compensation, royalties, or further consideration for the use of their media beyond the initial grant and prizes awarded. ASHFIMON retains the right to edit or crop submitted media to meet digital and other publishing standards.
• Release of Liability: The winner releases the ASHFIMON Jamaican Citizenship Program from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of the use of the Media, including claims for invasion of privacy or defamation.

VI. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

• Independent Operation: This grant giveaway is NOT owned, endorsed, run in conjunction with, or sponsored by PICA, the Government of Jamaica (GOJ), US Consulates/Embassies, or any social media platform (including Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok). Any future official partnerships will be explicitly stated.
• Fee & Processing Disclaimer: ASHFIMON is NOT responsible for additional application fees, logistical surcharges, document delays, government rejections, or issues of ANY kind occurring after the winner is announced and funds/prizes are disbursed.
• Shipping Liability: Physical prizes will be mailed out within 3 business days if the winner’s t-shirt size is currently in stock. Tracking details will be emailed. Once the shipping carrier accepts the package, ASHFIMON is no longer liable for transit delays, losses, or delivery issues.

VII. WINNER TIMELINE & CRITICAL DEADLINES

• Entry Deadline: The deadline to enter the giveaway is Thursday, October 1st, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• Drawing & Notification: Exactly ONE (1) winner will be chosen at random and notified via email and social media tag on Monday, October 5th, 2026.
• Strict 24-Hour Claim Window: The chosen winner must reply to the initial announcement email within twenty-four (24) hours of its timestamp. Failure to reply within this window results in immediate, automatic forfeiture of the prize. A secondary runner-up will be drawn and notified under the same terms.
• Fund Disbursement: Once the winner responds and successfully confirms their information, the $100 USD grant will be deposited directly into their verified PayPal account within 48 hours, followed by an email confirmation containing the transaction ID.

Since its inception in 2021, the Jamaican Citizenship (By Descent) Grant Giveaway is an annual philanthropic program and initiative created and executed by ASHFIMON that targets 18-40-year-olds in the United States of Jamaican descent. After realizing there is a hyper-niche community of like-minded individuals who are interested in connecting and reconnecting with their roots, in 2020, I collated my experience into a limited mini-series on how to apply for an assortment of Jamaican-based documents. Since then, I have become an informational resource. Through my philanthropic efforts, I sponsor the Jamaican citizenship application fee for the randomly selected grant recipient.
